Where the drinking water company in Qalyubia decided today, to cut off water from citizens who refuse to pay their overdue consumption bills, after the company sent them several warnings of the need to legalize their status, but they did not understand their legal position and they refused.
Eng. Mustafa Mujahid, Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, assigned the company’s commercial sector to form campaigns to collect arrears from subscribers who refrained from paying bills in the city of Khusus and Khanka South branches. Sums owed for water consumption values were collected for a number of business owners and citizens ’homes. Water for subscribers who refused to pay the bills until their legal status.
The commercial sector also launched a campaign against citizens' surreptitious encroachments on the water and wastewater network, and legal measures were taken, by issuing arrest reports for violating citizens.
