Although agriculture is of great importance in the Arab world, it suffers from many problems that differ from Qatar to Qatar. Underdevelopment is the predominant feature of agriculture in many Arab countries, especially those governed by the fluctuating climate conditions without there being sufficient means of irrigation to help overcome this problem. .
The traditional methods of cultivation are still the ones that the Arab peasant depends on, even in the agricultural developed countries. The rainfed farming methods were very late and it was rare or the farmer used fertilizers and until the beginning of the nineteenth century, mechanization of agriculture was still unknown except in limited areas of the Arab world and still is. Food production is the dominant characteristic of Arab agriculture.
The problem of land acquisition was one of the problems facing Arab agriculture, as the conditions that the Arab corner experienced led to the accumulation of most of the agricultural lands in the hands of a handful of big owners.
Whereas the peasant, the real producer, did not own land, and this was one of the main reasons for the backwardness of naked agricultural production. There is a big difference between the one who cultivates the land and is the owner of it and the one who cultivates it as a tenant or a hired worker.
