Why spread olive trees cultivation in the Arab world





Tree plants spread in all the mountain slopes facing the coasts, and its trees extend inland to where the influence of the Mediterranean climate reaches, and in some parts of the Arab world, olives are the second agricultural yield after grains.

Olive oil is the best type of edible oils for all, and is used as a substitute for animal fats in the food of many residents and the most productive Arab countries are Tunisia, followed by the Kingdom of Morocco, then Syria, Algeria, Libya, Palestine and Lebanon.

Many fruit trees are grown in the Arab lands, some of which belong to the desert, such as date palms, which are hardly devoid of Arab Qatar, and some of them are Mediterranean trees such as vines and citrus fruits, and some of the other fruits are temperate cold regions, such as apples and pears, or the fruits of hot regions such as mangoes and bananas.

Hence, fruit is one of the Arab agricultural yields that can be expanded in cultivation and care for production so that it can play a prominent role in the national economy of many countries of the Arab world.
