During the year 2020 AD, the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments achieved many achievements, the most important of which are:
First: In the field of mosque architecture
Replacement, renovation, furnishing, maintenance and restoration
1. A total of 1023 mosques were replaced, renovated, maintained and restored, of which (640) were replaced, renovated, maintained, and restored from the Ministry of Endowments’s budget and their own resources at a financial cost of (813,419,585) pounds, and (383) mosques were replaced, renovated, maintained and restored by self-efforts under the supervision of Ministry of Endowments.
2. The Ministry of Endowments has achieved a record number in the opening of new mosques that were established by the Ministry of Endowments or through self-efforts that were carried out under the supervision of the Ministry of Endowments, as (508) new mosques were opened during the months 9, 10 and 11/2020 AD.
3. More than (1200) mosques were furnished with a quantity of brushes amounting to about (380) thousand square meters, of which (782) mosques were furnished from the self-resources of the Ministry of Endowments with an amount of brushes amounting to about (250) thousand square meters of carpets (the mihrab) produced by Damanhour Carpet Factory owned by the Egyptian Endowments Authority, at a cost of (43,359,384) pounds, in addition to the furnishings of about (418) mosques that were furnished with an amount of about (130) thousand square meters of furniture by self-efforts, in light of the Ministry's interest in the architecture of the houses of God (the Almighty) And prepare the worshipers building and meaning.
Second: In the field of righteousness
More than (300) million pounds in the field of charity and community service
And most caring families
4. (173,646,028) pounds were spent as aid in the field of land.
5. (32,558,120) pounds were disbursed from the door of the good loan without any administrative expenses, to the workers of the Ministry and other government agencies.
6. (1200) tons of meat from endowment sacrifices were distributed to one million two hundred thousand families from the most vulnerable families, at an estimated cost of (115) million pounds.
7. The amount allocated to support the pensions of the Holy Quran Reciters Syndicate was doubled to become (400) thousand pounds annually, instead of (200) thousand pounds, for service and memorization of the Holy Quran.
Third :
In the field of authoring, translation and publishing
8. (18) books have been published in the series "Vision" for enlightened thought, in cooperation between the Ministries of Endowments and Culture, represented by the Egyptian General Book Organization, which are: (The Six Colleges - The Delusions of Terrorists and Their Refutation - The Water Blessing - Building the National Character - The Dangers of Atheism and Ways of Confrontation - Building Awareness - The jurisprudence of nation building - in the context of the art of the article - Islam speaks for itself - Literature with our Master, the Messenger of God, "may God bless him and grant him peace" - The jurisprudence of the calamities "the emerging corona as a model" - Our protective identity in the era of globalization - Concepts that must be corrected in the face of extremism - Rules Total jurisprudence - the danger of atonement and fatwas without knowledge - perfection and beauty in the Noble Qur’an - communication skills in the Prophet’s Sunnah - the art of writing and short sentences), bringing the number of publications in the “Vision” series to (22) issues, and another (3) issues are being issued before the end of the year God Almighty willing.
9. Launching the "Vision" series translated into foreign languages in cooperation between the Ministry of Endowments and Culture represented by the Egyptian General Book Authority, and (4) books were issued: (The Jurisprudence of State Building in English - The Jurisprudence of State Building in the French Language - Concepts that must be corrected in Jurisprudence) The biography in English - concepts that must be corrected in the jurisprudence of the biography in the French language), and six other issues are being issued.
10. The launch of the “Vision” series for young people, in cooperation between the Ministries of Endowments and Culture, represented by the Egyptian General Book Authority, and the first two issues of it were published: (Between Truth and Fiction - An Idea in a Book).
11. (13) new books have been issued, they are: (Advocacy communication skills in the Prophet’s Sunnah - Builders and Destroyers - Literature with our Master, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him "- The danger of takfir and fatwa without knowledge - Jurisprudence of calamities," New Corona as a model "- one hundred Modern Sermon on Topical Issues C2 - Modern Encyclopedia of Sermons C8 - Brief Encyclopedia of Prophetic Hadiths C27 - Perfection and Beauty in the Holy Qur’an - Inevitability of Juristic Renewal - Art of Writings and Short Sentences "Tweet and Post" - Encyclopedia of Jurisprudence AFor an Islamic one, 47 - Explanation of the Sunnah’s Generations in the Systems of the Prophet’s Biography (Part 4 - The Art of Rhetoric between the Past and the Present), and due to the high demand for some books, (4) books have been reprinted: (The Six Colleges - From the Secrets of the Qur’an Manifesto - Builders and Destroyers - The Art of Writings and Short Sentences) ).
12. The meanings of the Noble Qur’an have been translated into (Urdu).
13. (26) books were printed, translated into foreign languages as follows: (The Maqasid Understanding of the Prophetic Sunnah and translated into (3) languages - Cultural Dialogue between East and West and translated into (English) - State Jurisprudence and Community Jurisprudence and translated into (3) languages - Islam speaks for itself and was translated into (Portuguese) - an encyclopedia of modern sermons and translated into (12) languages - concepts that must be corrected and translated into (3) languages - the dangers of atheism and ways of confrontation, and it was translated into (3) languages. Reprinting two books in the language (Bambra): (Concepts that must be corrected - Encyclopedia of Modern Speeches).
Fourthly :
In the field of electronic advocacy
14. Within the framework of the Ministry's interest in comprehensive electronic development, the Ministry of Endowments website (online endowments) was developed, and the electronic endowment portal and the scientific endowment platform were launched, in order to spread the correct moderate thought and correct misconceptions January 2020.
15. The Electronic Advocacy Department was established in May 2020.
16. The (awareness) page was launched on Facebook, with the aim of intensifying and disseminating thoughts and all advocacy work on a large scale.
17. The (International Awqaf Academy) page was launched on Facebook.
18. The (Minbar Al-Tajdid) channel was launched on YouTube, to publish lectures and video advocacy messages for imams and preachers in the Ministry of Endowments.
19. The (Minbar Al-Tajdid) audio channel has been launched on Telegram to disseminate audio lectures and advocacy messages.
20. The (Minbar Al-Tajdid) audio channel was launched on the soundcloud, to spread the audio lectures and advocacy messages, and (41) audio clips were published, and the number of the channel’s followers reached (227).
21. An application has been launched for Android devices, through which (44) books from the Ministry of Endowments and the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs have been published, in addition to many audio-visual programs and read articles.
22. A number of (3) books were published as part of the audiovisual and readable book project, namely: “Advocacy Communication Skills - Concepts That Should Be Corrected - Maqasid Understanding of the Prophetic Sunnah”, on the “Minbar Al-Tajdid” channel, SoundCloud and Telegram, and the Minbar Al-Tajdid channel by (21) ring.
23. 57 clips of advocacy for the youth of the Ministry of Endowments were published on the (awareness) page on Facebook.
24. Several television programs have been launched in cooperation with the National Media Authority and have intensified as of April 2020, including: “The Talk of the Hour” program, on the Egyptian satellite channel, Al-Thaniya, Al-Nil Al-Thaqafiyyah, and the program (In the Rehab of the Holy Quran), on the satellite channel Al-Masria, Al-Nil Al-Thaqafiyyah, Nile Life, the (Islamic Thought Forum) program on the Nile Cultural Channel, the religious paragraph program in the (Our Morning Masri) program on the Egyptian satellite channel, and the (Be a Companion) program on the Nile News Channel, in addition to the (Sahour Hadith) program. It was prepared and presented by young endowment imams through the Middle East News Agency website daily, and the (Sheikh Baiqolak) program was prepared and presented by the endowment imams through the (Al Youm Al Sabea) newspaper website daily during the month of Ramadan 1441 AH.
25. (55) clips of the Ramadan evenings, between recitations and supplications, from Ramadan evenings, were published on the Ministry of Endowments website.
26. (27) missionary messages were published in foreign languages, as part of the endowment messages translated to the world.
27. (7) issues of (Minbar al-Islam) and (Al-Firdous) magazines, which were issued by the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, were published online on the electronic endowments portal and the ministry's Facebook pages.
28. (44) electronic books have been published on the International Awqaf Academy website.
29. The (Hope is Life) initiative was launched to spread the spirit of hope and optimism among people of all sects, and (15) video clips were published on the electronic endowment portal and the platform for renewal.
30. The campaign (Our Land is Our Offer, We Protect It and Grow it) was launched on the occasion of Farmer Day, with the aim of raising awareness of the need to preserve and develop the agricultural area.
31. A campaign was launched (to raise awareness of the cleanliness of mosques and to take care of the homes of God, the Exalted and Majestic).
32. The number of visitors to the electronic endowment portal reached (26918603) visitors.
33. The number of followers of the ministry’s Facebook page was (1190503).
Fifth: In the field of training and education
In specialized and remote training centers
34. The general specialized online educational course was launched for all imams and preachers at the level of the Republic through the electronic endowment portal on 4/12/2020 CE on three books: The Objective Understanding of the Prophet’s Sunnah, the six colleges, and the rules of total jurisprudence.
35. Remote training programs were introduced, as the first session of (100) imams was launched on 7/5/2020 AD, and (7) training programs were implemented for (500) imams.
36. A number of (14) courses in social media and (ICDL) were implemented at the Computer Center at the International Endowments Academy to train imams and preachers and prepare trainers, and (215) imams and administrators were granted an international computer license from the International Academy of Endowments.
37. A course on protecting young people from extremism was implemented for (124) imams and preachers at the International Endowments Academy.
38. A leadership development course was implemented for (45) leaders in the North Sinai Endowments Directorate at the International Endowments Academy.
39. The first batch of (97) imams who obtained the integrated course were graduated from the International Endowments Academy, and the integrated course (the second batch) was launched for (60) imams and preachers.
40. An announcement of (1000) master's scholarships for imams, preachers and administrators, in cooperation with The Institute of Islamic Studies in Mohandessin, and the scholarship acceptance tests have been completed.
41. The specialized course was implemented remotely in fatwa for female endowment preachers to refine their talents in the subjects: rules of general jurisprudence, the jurisprudence of prayer, the jurisprudence of Hajj, and the jurisprudence of inheritance 11/22/2020.
42. Establishing the Arabic Language Revival Center at the International Awqaf Academy to train imams and preachers and prepare trainers.
43. Two qualitative courses were implemented remotely in the jurisprudence of the Arabic language for imams and preachers entitled: “Aesthetics and Tasting the Arabic Language” for (25) imams and (25) preachers.
44. A special training program was developed to counter electronic terrorism for imams and preachers by holding several consecutive courses for imams and preachers, and the first session was held on 7/2/2020 AD.
45. The launch of the general session entitled: "Rational Use of Cyberspace" for all imams and administrators at the Republic's level during the month of November 2020 AD.
46. The first 100% automated electronic examination was conducted in the Ministry in cooperation with the Central Agency for Organization and Administration.
47. A number (6126) groups of the “Vision” series were distributed to all distinguished imams registered for masters or doctoral degrees and imams of major mosques nationwide, in addition to the distribution of (38149) sets of publications of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs to all imams at the level of the Republic. .
48. A number of youth leaderships were pushed into the administrative and leadership work in the Ministry and its affiliated bodies.
49. A number of (8) rehabilitative programs were implemented at the Training Center at Al-Nour Mosque in Abbasiya for (891) new imams.
50. A number of (3) specialized courses were implemented at the Training Center at Al-Nour Mosque in Abbasiya, for (124) imams, inspectors and administrators.
51. (8) educational camps were implemented for imams, preachers and expatriates in Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq camp in Alexandria.
52. There were (11) training courses in dealing with the population issue and issues related to the family, for (975) imams in the governorates of the Republic.
53. (5) training courses were held to develop the skills of religious education teachers in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
Sixthly :
In the field of advocacy
And serving the Holy Quran
54. Approval of (160) new Qur’anic schools aimed at instilling moral values among young people and immunizing them from extremist ideology and its dangers, bringing the total number of Qur’anic schools in major mosques to (1260) Qur’anic schools, of which (18) Qur’anic schools teach distinguished preachers in the Ministry of Endowments .
55. (50) new scientific schools have been approved aiming to spread the enlightened moderate Islamic thought, correct misconceptions and consolidate moral values and peaceful coexistence, bringing the total number of scientific schools in the major mosques to (340) scientific schools, of which (12) scientific schools in which the distinguished preachers study in the Ministry Endowments.
56. (3) new centers for Islamic culture have been approved in the governorates of (Sharkia - Alexandria - Matrouh), bringing the total of Islamic culture centers that have been established to (35) cultural centers, of which (two) are in foreign languages, one of them in El Mina Mosque in Hurghada, and the other in the Sahaba Mosque in Sharm El Sheikh. .
57. (810) new literacy classes were opened in the various mosques nationwide.
58. (30) intellectual forums were held during the blessed month of Ramadan, within the framework of the educational and enlightening role played by the Ministry of Endowments, raising awareness about issues of religion and society that contribute to building the human being and instilling correct values of faith. These sessions were broadcast in cooperation with the National Media Authority. Through the Nile Cultural Channel, and through the electronic portal of the Ministry of Endowments.
59. The Ministry of Youth and Sports has been handed a number (1030) a set of publications of the series "Vision" for Enlightened Thought, to be distributed to youth centers and clubs affiliated to the Ministry of Youth and Sports in accordance with the plan drawn up by the Ministry of Youth and Sports for distribution.
60. The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has delivered 1000 sets of publications to the "Vision" series for Enlightened Thought, for distribution to school libraries across the country.
61. The first cultural dialogue forum, under the title: “Organizing the reproductive process, a legal vision and a realistic necessity,” was held at the headquarters of the International Endowments Academy to train imams and preachers and prepare trainers on Tuesday 10/13/2020.
62. The second cultural dialogue forum, entitled: “Ethics in dealing with cyberspace and modern communication technologies,” was held at the headquarters of the International Endowments Academy to train imams and preachers and prepare trainers on Tuesday 3/11/2020.
63. The initiative “We coexist with mutual respect” was launched in the jurisprudence and spirit of coexistence with respect between human beings, and its first activities were held in cooperation with Dar Al-Hilal and Al-Mawsour newspaper on Tuesday 10/11/2020.
64. The second activity of the initiative "We coexist with mutual respect" was held in cooperation with the Middle East News Agency on Monday 23/11/2020.
65. A number of (27) advocacy convoys were conducted to the border governorates and remote areas.
66. A number of (1328) lectures and seminars were held to reduce the risks of illegal immigration and human trafficking in the governorates located on the border coasts.
67. (934) lectures were held to raise awareness of issues related to the population problem, women's issues, family planning, reproductive health, and consolidating the foundations of citizenship until mid-March 2020.
68. (480) lectures were held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in all schools of the Republic.
69. (434) lectures were held in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in all youth centers and clubs in the governorates of the Republic.
70. (76) lectures were held in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture in all cultural palaces in the governorates of the Republic.
71. A number of imams have participated in awareness-raising lectures for youth train regiments in Luxor and Aswan governorates.
72. Several joint advocacy convoys were carried out in cooperation with Al-Azhar.
73. The Ministry of Awqaf launched the "twenty-seventh" global competition for the preservation and interpretation of the Holy Quran
He understood his purposes with the participation of (84) contestants from (62) foreign countries, and the first winners were honored with financial prizes amounting to (1260000) pounds.
74. A number of (297) new Muqira members were approved, among the new imams, bringing the number of Muqra'a members to (8717) Muqra'a members, with (980) Muqira.
75. (419) new preachers were approved with a reward system.
76. Several new volunteer preachers were approved.
77. (280) mosques were annexed that included preaching.
78. In cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, 50 new offices for memorizing the Noble Qur’an were approved, bringing the number of memorization offices to (2115) offices for memorization of civil societies.
79. (13) new Imams were sent abroad.
80. All departments and colleges of the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture in Kazakhstan obtain quality and accreditation for two consecutive sessions.
81. The Egyptian University of Islamic Culture in Kazakhstan won the first place in the specializations of Islamic Studies and Religion Sciences among all the Kazakh universities, and it also got the fourth place in the specializations of Humanities among the Kazakhstani universities as well.
Seventh:
Egyptian Endowments Authority
During the year 2020, the Egyptian Endowments Authority achieved seven consecutive records
82. The Egyptian Endowments Authority achieved the highest annual return in its history, as its total revenues and investment profits in the fiscal year 2019/2020 amounted to 1,546,659,340 pounds, an increase of 85,744,977 pounds over the last fiscal year 2018/2019, an estimated rate of 6%, and an increase of 336,107,960 pounds over Fiscal year 2017/2018 AD, at an estimated rate of 22%, with an increase of 981,946 million pounds over the year 2013/2014 AD, at a rate of 173.79%.
83. The Egyptian Endowments Authority achieved the highest monthly return in its history, as the Authority’s revenues during the month of June 2020 amounted to 275,078,367 pounds, an increase of 106,405,517 pounds, or 63% over the same month in 2019.
84. The Authority’s revenues during the month of July 2020 amounted to 88,526,946 pounds, an increase of 49,711,062 pounds, or 128% over the same month in 2019.
85. The Authority’s revenues during August 2020 amounted to 91,570,168 pounds, an increase of 23,253,313 pounds, or 34% over the same month in 2019.
86. The Authority’s revenues during the month of September 2020 amounted to 135,287,635 pounds, an increase of 17,035,151 pounds, or 14% over the same month in 2019.
87. The Authority’s revenues during October 2020 amounted to 145,347,236 pounds, an increase of 23,320,966 pounds, or 19% over the same month in 2019.
88. The Authority’s revenues for the period from 1/1/2020 AD to date amounted to (1,427,560,009) pounds, an increase of (164,735,414) pounds, over the same period of 2019.
89. The opening of the first phase of the city of Al-Harfain in Hurghada in the Red Sea. The Egyptian Endowments Authority provided (414) shops and (3) cafeterias of various and varied areas.
90. The opening of the first phase of Souq Al-Khamis in Al-Matareya, and the Egyptian Endowments Authority provided (769) weeping in Al-Khamis Market in Al-Matareya to street vendors of various and varied areas and affordable rental value, taking into account the Ministry of Endowments and the Egyptian Endowments Authority for the social dimension.
91. The production of medical masks conforming to the standard specifications produced by the National Endowment Investments Company.
92. Producing the protective face shield produced by the National Endowment Investment Company, and the Ministry of Health donated (1000) protective face shield.
93. Production of protective office shield produced by the National Endowment Investments Company.
94. The production of a sterilization cabin for individuals produced by the National Endowment Investment Company.
Eighth:
In the field of improving the conditions of imams and developing the career structure
95. The decision of His Excellency Dr. Eng. Prime Minister was issued regarding the scientific excellence incentive for employees of the Ministry of Endowments subject to the Civil Service Law No. 81 of 2016.
96. (30391) Azhar uniforms were distributed to the imams in the various governorates of the Republic.
97. (7042) Azhar turban was distributed to imams in the various governorates of the Republic.
98. The Ministry's administrative structure has been modernized, developed and approved, in order to contribute to the implementation of tasks in all aspects of leadership, administrative and technical work with high accuracy and efficiency.
Ninth:
Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs
99. (14) exhibitions were held to display the publications of the Ministry of Endowments and the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, the sales of which amounted to (1,283,561) pounds.
100. (2,243,500) pounds were paid in subsidies and aids for foreign students enrolled on a scholarship from the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and scholars at Al-Azhar.
101. (11) scientific libraries were donated abroad from the publications of the Ministry of Endowments and the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.
102. Launching the Cultural Salon at the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs. The first symposium was held under the title: “The Spirit of October and the Promotion of National Belonging” on 10/3/2020.
103. The second symposium was held by the Cultural Salon of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs under the title: “Creating Awareness and Building National Memory” on 10/22/2020.
Tenth:
In the field of health care and the development of Al-Dawa Hospital
104. (104) Coronavirus-infected cases were treated, and they were completely cured, thanks to God Almighty.
105. (507) patients were treated from waiting list cases, at a financial cost of (5,311,960) pounds.
106. The third phase of Al-Da`ah Hospital was opened, and the hospital was provided with (31) modern and advanced medical devices at a financial cost of (13,988,467) pounds.
eleven :
In the field of participation of the Ministry of Endowments in the Ministries League
107. The football team of the Ministry of Religious Endowments topped its group in the Ministries League, by winning four matches and obtaining (12) points in the first round, and qualified for the second round (the quarter-finals), despite its participation for the first time in this league.
Twelfth:
In the field of citizen service
108. The Ministry of Endowments won the first place out of (143) ministries and governmental bodies in the speed of aTo accomplish and respond to the complaints and inquiries of citizens on the unified government complaints system, which is one of the strategic indicators and Egypt Vision 2030, for the months of June 2020 AD, as it achieved advanced positions throughout the year.
