Counselor Muhammad al-Aboudi, chief prosecutor of Shebin al-Qanater, in Qalyubia governorate, ordered a worker to be imprisoned for 4 days pending investigations, accused of killing a 6-year-old child, after the latter saw him with his relative on agricultural land.
Major General Fakhr Al-Arabi, Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of Security in Qalyubia, received notification from Brigadier General Sayed Qadi, Commissioner of Shebin El-Qanater Police Station, a report informing the families of finding the body of a child lying inside an abandoned house adjacent to agricultural land in the Center Department. Shebin Al-Qanater, and immediately a research team was formed led by Major General Hatem Al-Haddad, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department at the Qalyubia Security Directorate, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Muhammadi, Head of the Qalyubia Security Investigation Department, Colonel Muhammad Hosni, Head of the Criminal Investigation Branch, Lt. Col. Muhammad Fathi, Head of Investigation at Shebin Al-Qanater Police Station, and Captain Hussam Al-Husseini, Associate Shebin Al-Qanater Investigations Department, and the accused was arrested, and the investigations revealed that the accused is an 18-year-old worker.
The prosecution requested inquiries about the incident and its circumstances, asked the family of the dead man, and permission to bury the body after receiving the forensic report. The accused made detailed confessions before the investigation authorities, confirming his kinship relationship with the child, and that the victim had seen him with a girl who had an emotional relationship with him, which prompted him to think To get rid of him for fear of being exposed.
And the defendant continued: “I took the child to a rattan house, adjacent to the ground, and I choked him using the strap of the thong pants that the child wore until he passed away, and threw him to the place where he was found.” The Shebin al-Qanater Center received a notification from some of the parents that the body of a child was found lying inside An abandoned house adjacent to agricultural land in the center circle. Investigations of the research team headed by the Public Security Sector, sector inspectors and officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Qalyubia Security Directorate identified the accused, who was found to be an 18-year-old worker. The necessary measures were taken towards the incident and the Public Prosecution began the investigation.
