Stanford University launched a list of "the best 2% of the world's scientists" and they number nearly 160,000 scientists from 149 countries, based on the Scopus database in about 176 majors, as stated in the following link: https: //bit.ly/3n6dQ2R
Dr. Jamal Al-Saeed, President of Benha University, announced that 7 scientists from the university’s sons have obtained seven centers in different scientific fields, according to the Stanford University study of the best 2% of scientists worldwide for the year 2020.
Al-Saeed congratulated the university scientists, whose names appeared in the list of the top 2% of the world's scientists, wishing them success and further progress during their scientific career.
For his part, Dr. Nasser Al-Jizawi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, added that the appearance of some university scientists in this international report is a remarkable achievement for researchers at the university as it indicates the quality of their research outputs. The results of the study depend on the Escope database of the international publishing house, the ambassador, and its results have been published in the journal PLOS Biology is recently categorized into 22 scientific domains and 176 subdomains.
He pointed out that this reflects the extent of the effort made by the faculty in the recent period in the field of upgrading scientific research and increasing the number of research published in internationally classified scientific journals, in addition to the support the university provides to researchers to achieve the quality of scientific research outputs.
It is worth noting that the scientists are Dr. Ahmed Taher Azar in the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Alaa Amin of the College of Science, Dr. Metwally Abdullah of the College of Science, Dr. Ali Al-Otar College of Science, Dr. Ahmed Farraj Ali College of Science, Dr. Mustafa Nassar College of Science, and Dr. Muhammad Muhammad Mukhtar College of Science.
