When your eyes fall on her paintings, you feel as if you are looking at a face in reality and not just a handful of ink flowing on the face of a paper. Realism for plastic art.
Maryam Yasser studies at Alexandria University, Faculty of Arts, Department of Archeology. Her field of study differs from her hobby, but her love of drawing made her attached to it and continues her sweet interest in his world.
Maryam Yasser tells “Sabah Masr” about the beginning of her journey with drawing, saying: “My studies have no relationship with drawing purely, but drawing is a hobby for me when I was young and I used to love drawing on the ground and on paper until I developed from myself one by one until I reached a level satisfied with it. To some extent, I drew from who and I was his child, but I did not take the subject very much more than 3 years ago exactly
The one who encouraged me a lot, frankly, the first of them is my family and my family in particular, my father and my sisters.
Maryam Yasser uses many materials to create her paintings, such as lead, charcoal, colors and dry, and despite her attempts to master all the materials, she sees the charcoal closest to her heart.
The study did not help her to develop her level in drawing, but she knows how to invest her spare time in exercising and training her hand in drawing, and she tends in her paintings to show
Melancholic feelings, and she adds, I am more inclined in my drawings to sadness, and that I draw portraits that generally express any feelings, whether sadness or joy or whatever!
Maryam considers that her father is her ideal in drawing because he loved the arts of plastic art since he was of her age, and from him she took the love of colors, Alexandria provided her with psychological and spiritual calm and gave her a compass of spiritual and mental purity to encourage her creativity and drawing.
Maryam Yasser blames the poor appreciation of the Egyptian street for plastic art, as well as those who consider drawing to be a waste of time, but she hopes that this image will change in the future and elevate the audience's taste, and she adds, drawing in my country can not take its right, especially from people, does not have any appreciation for any talent in general Not drawing, but ... I wish that only people could differentiate between the thing that is mastered with love and the ordinary thing that does not have any feelings.
Maryam Yasser wishes to fulfill her father's dream, to become a well-known plastic artist, and to have her name prominent in this field. She adds, my dream map is that I fulfill the dream of my father, and that I reach a great place in the field of painting .. And my name is known to anyone.
