Cars were lined up in all his roads, every corridor he took he finds cars there and there, he likes their rotation, so he got busy with designing and decided to integrate into this art despite his young age, so whenever he had a free time, he invented a new design of this kind, the capital city of Rabat. The Moroccan gave designer Khaled El-Zen, 19, a unique start in supporting his abilities.
How did Khaled acquire the arts of drawing?
He learned Zen, the arts of drawing, at the age of ten, he acquired this elegant talent from his brother, as his family is full of talents, and he tells "First Page" I would love to take his pen and others in his school books, then the talent of drawing appeared to me.
The Moroccan designer had a love for drawing cars in particular. The cars were what he saw most on the street when he went out to play with his friends, as their shape, design and quality constantly echoed before his eyes.
His father was the first supporter of him in developing his talent, as he advised him to publish his paintings and designs on social media and to bring these designs to light.
Special tales with car design
During his school days, Khaled Al-Zen was sitting among his colleagues, jogging with his pens on the papers, playing around in his small world, releasing his imagination to global horizons, but that did not prevent him from achieving good points in all of his exams.
The Moroccan painter was fifteen years old, and then he met an artist from Ouarzazate, a “Moroccan city,” who always put his paintings on the road. The use of colors and create a palette with wood and tops.
After studying Zen for Mathematical Sciences in the first international department with the elite of the school, he gave up drawing for a while in order to study, but when he reached the baccalaureate department, he was busy at the time with the press activities organized by one of his professors with the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment. With the help of the team, he was able to obtain First place award at the level of the State of Morocco.
From engineering to arts, dreams and plans
After the Moroccan designer obtained his baccalaureate degree, he was unable to study in the preparatory departments of the “Faculty of Engineering” .. and represented one of his difficult stages, he had no choice but the College of Fine Arts, so he joined it, and learned from his teachers new techniques such as expression with magazine papers or drawing with natural materials such as charcoal Etc.
Khaled Al-Zen was able to develop in his very personal work and began to draw some paintings that deal with different issues, such as smoking, but he was only influenced by the design of the cars that people come from all over the city to walk in.
Why did Khaled choose the German designer to be his role model?
Zen is considered his ideal in painting by the German designer Mitja Burkert, and he believes that the culture of plastic art in Morocco did not appear as in Europe, and he adds, there is one difference between the two cultures, which is that Europeans live in an environment in which there are many drawings on the walls and ancient art sculptures that they even look at It became part of their culture, but art in Morocco was famous for the Andalusian decorations that we see in the mosque and in some archaeological countries, such as Rabat, Essaouira and Casablanca.
His dreams do not have a ceiling, but he is considering studying abroad in the field of automotive design, or studying interior design, which he is studying now, at the College of Art.
