The governor of Qalyubia is touring the city of Khanka to follow up on a number of projects, follow-up and monitor violations of spatial variables and remove them



Abdel-Hamid Al-Hagan, Governor of Qalyubia, today conducted an inspection tour of the city of Khanka to follow up on a number of projects underway in the city and to follow up on the violations that are monitored through the Spatial Variables Unit and remove them immediately.

The governor began the tour by inspecting the new Abu Zaabal Bridge at the Belbeis Bank, which was completed at a total cost of 40 million pounds, and the work of the bridge will depend on opening, closing and passing on the Mostorod Al-Khanka road through the Ismailia Canal to directly reach the city of Khanka, which facilitates traffic for citizens.

The governor also inspected the site for the construction of a new road facing the bridge to be the entrance to Abu Zaabal, where the governor met with the citizens who own the lands that will be expropriated in favor of the road and who have expressed their agreement to construct the road, as he instructed the governor to raise the areas that will be removed in favor of the road and compensate its owners with a fair compensation as decided by the committee The problem is from the Survey Directorate to evaluate lands.

The governor affirmed that the road will be an important traffic corridor, transferring traffic from the Ismailia Canal Road to the Abu Zaabal area directly, with a length of 1 km.

The governor followed the tour by inspecting the Khanka Central Hospital, and it should be noted that the hospital’s cost amounted to 220 million pounds, and it consists of 110 accommodation beds, 17 intensive care beds, outpatient clinics, pharmacies, analysis laboratory, operating rooms, and 22 renal dialysis machines, and the implementation rate is about 97% and work is underway. He will deliver to the hospital in the near future.

 Where "Al-Hagan" inspected the hospital wards and outpatient clinics, where the outpatient building was completely finished, gave some directions and notes on the work, and directed to avoid those observations and work in parallel in supplying medical devices and equipment.

The governor also inspected the 23rd of July Chest Diseases Hospital in Khanka, in which the development of Building A and Building B has been completed, and it includes the addition of intensive care wards, the development of a medical gas network, and raising the efficiency of laboratory and radiology laboratories, in addition to the replacement and renewal of the infrastructure. Al-Hajjan confirmed that Khanka Central Hospital and 23 July Hospital will represent two medical edifices, to be added to the governorate’s health system, as they will provide specialized medical services to the people of the governorate and the neighboring governorates. The governor completed the tour by launching a campaign to remove the violations that are monitored by the Spatial Variables Unit. Removing a building on an area of ​​300 meters in Ezbet Al-Hasayna in the village of Seriaqous, and the removal was carried out with the equipment of the local unit of the center and city of Al-Khanka

During the tour, the governor launched his campaign against the street vendors on Al-Jumhuriya Street in the area of ​​the local unit of the Arab clinic, where the street vendors and occupations on the road that were causing obstruction to traffic were removed and the opportunity for a wrong waiting on both sides of the road to occur, thus endangering the lives of citizens.

All works were confiscated, violation records were drawn up, and a pledge not to return again, as the governor affirmed that he would not tolerate any violations and that the maximum penalties would be taken against the violators to achieve deterrence and discipline.

The governor also stressed the need to coordinate with the police stations of each city and center in launching campaigns on these cases within cities, neighborhoods and villages.
