The Egyptian and African Women Foundation for Development and Services, headed by Dr. Nagwa Ibrahim, held its regular meeting of the heads of committees at the foundation, in the presence of Dr. Fawzi Fadel, the Foundation’s Secretary-General, and a number of members of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and Advisors, on Saturday at the Foundation’s headquarters in Maadi.


The meeting came out with several decisions, the foremost of which was to cancel the decision to form the current board of trustees and reconfigure it again. The meeting also discussed how to find financial resources for the institution for more activities and activities in development and services, in addition to a number of important issues that would enhance voluntary collective work. In general, and to serve the breadwinner and financially women in particular.


Prior to the meeting, Naglaa Ahmed, a member of the Foundation’s Cultural Committee and the Media Committee, reviewed part of her project titled “The role of cultural awareness of women in sustainable development,” and clarified the role of cultural awareness of women and its impact on the family and society as a whole, and the calls of evil people to marginalize them, and awareness of the political will for the role of Women and its importance in change, and recommended the establishment of an effective entity that reaches all women of all groups, and the preparation of an educational curriculum in schools, to develop awareness from childhood on the role of women in society.
