Ihab Zaid Al-Falahi graduated from the Academy of Arts, University of Baghdad in 2001. In addition to his work as a plastic artist, he studied engineering and graduated from the College of Engineering, Department of Mechanics, and works as an engineer for engineering designs in a public company.

The Iraqi artist, Ihab Zaid Al-Falahi, began practicing the art of drawing very early, when he was three years old or younger. He was encouraged by his family's encouragement.

He was participating in the "UNICEF" exhibitions held outside Iraq for children's drawings.

His school and his teachers paid attention to his encouragement, as everyone touched the fresh spirit of talent in him and they expected him to have a great future in the world of painting. in Iraq.

The works of Iraqi artist Ihab Zaid Al-Falahi have been acquired in several countries such as America, the United Kingdom, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and Iraq.

His love of drawing made him research and develop his talent on his own by informing him of the works of senior painters, whether the works of art magazines or foreign publications that his father had nominated for him and he was influenced by Russian realist art, as he considers them the giants of the classical school until drawing became his obsession throughout the period of adolescence and youth.

Ehab Zaid Al-Falahi adopted the style of the Russian Realist School as a method in his works, and he loved tragedy in the spirit of work and artistic creation, and socialist thought in subjects related to struggle and work.

After the death of his father, he took it upon himself to support his family, especially the economic conditions that his homeland was going through as a result of the blockade, then he returned after a while to complete his university studies, apply to the Academy of Fine Arts, finish studying in it and complete his artistic career, in addition to his work.

The Iraqi artist, Ihab Zaid Al-Falahi, participated in several joint exhibitions inside Iraq and at the Arts Palace in Baghdad and some exhibitions of the Academy.

In his paintings, Ehab Zaid Al-Falahi deals with human subjects and documenting the daily events of people. He also focuses on spiritual expression in a poetic and spiritual way in particular, despite his attempt to distance himself from political issues and various international conflicts, but it remains the general framework for everything that happens in people's lives.

Iraqi artist Ihab Zaid Al-Falahi prefers oil colors in general in his drawings and canvas because they are the materials that form the official artwork in art galleries and salons, and the most influential and long-lived of the works.

The Iraqi artist, Ihab Zaid Al-Falahi, wishes to devote himself fully to art, despite his love for engineering work and a field of specialization in it, and he contributes to the development of artistic work within his homeland and also wishes to establish a special salon for his works and the work of distinguished artists in Iraq and the world, and that part of it be devoted to an academic establishment Mini for teaching drawing
