Because we now live in a time of corona, as they say, and a state of panic prevails within the souls of millions of people who fear this sudden epidemic and amid many forms of alerting and warning, every person on his part tries to alert his loved ones, friends and all around him about ways to prevent the emerging corona virus.
The young girl, Shahd Ali Makkawi, 16, tried to advise her friends in a humanitarian and educational gesture against the Coronavirus, and although she did not fully use her skills, creativity and talent, her purpose from the beginning was awareness only.
Shahd learned the art of drawing at the age of six years. She considers that the talent is the one that she discovered and did not discover herself. Her family took care to encourage and train her to practice drawing by joining her in art exhibitions and participating in them.
Despite her young age, she was able to achieve advanced positions in international artistic competitions and succeeded in drawing the eyes of the press on her talent, which made her headline the major newspapers in Egypt.
Shahd is interested in issues that suit her childish spirit, as she tries to highlight patience, beauty, joy, happiness and spiritual expressions in her paintings.
Shahd is proficient in drawing portraits and her paintings suggest belonging to the realist school. She pays great attention to detail and tries as much as possible to develop her talent as much as possible.
Shahd participated in more than 28 art exhibitions and exhibited one of her paintings in the Arab emirate of Dubai. She also participated in one of her paintings in a plastic art competition in India and won in it three times in a row.
After her multiple participation in exhibitions, and despite her young age, she sees private art exhibitions as trade fairs that only serve the organizers and the artists do not benefit from them in anything, and this is what made them known as Al-Sebouba exhibitions.
