She was busy with volunteer work, out of her eagerness to help others, driven only by her human sense. All that matters to her is to spread a kind of love and compassion, but in her own way, Nermin El Jawhari is a volunteer in animal shelters.
Nermin Al-Gohari searches for stray and street animals, whether injured or otherwise, on the presence of a shelter for them and treating them, especially animals that are exposed to violence, which appears in their beating, tying, or fractures.
Nermin El-Gohari takes these animals to the shelters designated for them after she provides all the help for the animal, then this new guest joins the other animals inside the shelter until someone comes to adopt this weak animal.
Nermin’s intrinsic association with animals represents the link between her and this volunteer work she chose, and she tells Trend News the secret behind her preference for this work: “I love animals and I don’t care about anything that harms them because they don’t talk if they need something.”
Nermin El Gohary graduated in youth groups with many of her friends who volunteer to visit animal shelters and make donations to take care of them in case they cannot be adopted.
Nermin El-Gohary talked about the importance and necessity of supporting the culture of animal welfare, its special approach to refugee animals, and the manner of dealing with these animals inside the shelters, where she said: “By dealing with them like human beings, exactly, because they do not understand anything other than the meaning of the sign, especially that in Egypt the culture of animal welfare needs support. What encouraged me was that any animal on the street in particular would be more at risk. ”
Nermin considers that the behavior that some people have taken to expel their animal in the street after the spread of the Corona virus, fearing that the animal will transmit the infection is a bad and inhuman behavior, and commented on it: “The one blames the animals from the street because he is afraid of them and tries to save what I can already raise a cat or dog and throw it I fear for myself and I do not fear for it, I wish you deal with them and notice their behavior from time to time because they will have requirements that we do not see.
