However, he did not leave her and continued to practice the art of drawing, develop himself and participate in exhibitions at the university level, and he established an office for drawing personal pictures in his area to help him with the expenses of university studies.
After the graduation of the Iraqi artist Ahmed Helmy, he worked as a lawyer and did not stop painting, but not as before because of his immersion in the work of the courts and family concerns, and we do not forget the circumstances of the war that his homeland, Iraq, went through.
Most of his drawings were concerned with the obsession of the poor and the humanitarian and emotional issues, as he interacts with any social, economic, political or military circumstance. That is, art is for society and not art for art, and it has supported many human causes and attacked many of the masters of injustice and the enemies of mankind.
